Boolean logic
1 subtopic
The smallest topic on the course and one of the most reliable marks in Paper 2, because the rules never change.
You need the three simple logic gates, AND, OR and NOT, how to read and draw logic diagrams built from them, and how to complete a truth table for a given diagram or expression. You also need to apply logical operators in truth tables to solve problems.
The usual mistake is rushing the truth table. Work through the inputs in a fixed order and fill one column at a time, and the marks come easily.
